SCHOOL OF MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTER/INFORMATION SCIENCES
Application are invited for the following teaching positions of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR on temporary basis, as per the specializations given below, in the pay band of Rs, 15,600 — 39,100 with academic grade pay of Rs. 6000 and usual allowances (DA,HRA, Transport Allowance) as per the rules of the university:
a) Assistant Professor (Mathematics & Statistics)
Minimum Qualifications: M.Sc with 55% and NET qualified or Ph.D.
Specialization: Any area of Statistics/Mathematics/Applied Mathematics.
Desirable: Ph.D in Statistics/Mathematics/Applled Mathematics
Terms & Conditions of appointment:
1. Tenure: The appointments are purely temporary in nature and will be for a period not exceeding Six Months.
2. Emoluments: The basic pay shall be Rs.21,600/— (pay of 15,600 + Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of Rs. 6000 in the pay band of Rs. 15,600 — 39,100 with AGP of Rs. 6000/- plus DA,HRA and Transport allowance as per the rules of the University. Non —Compounded Advance increments (@3% each on the basic of Rs. 21,600/-) of 2for having M.Phi| and 5 for having Ph.D degree shall be sanctioned as per rules.
