SECOND NCA NOTIFICATION
Applications with photo uploaded are invited from qualified candidates for selection to
the following post. Applications must be submitted online through the Official website of
the commission after “ONE TIME REGISTRATION”. Candidates who have already
registered can apply through their profile.

Note:- The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this
notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the above
vacancies earmarked to the above communities but remains unfilled due to the paucity of
candidates during the currency of the Ranked list published on 07.05.2010 for the post.
This is the second NCA notification for the post owing to non availability of qualified
candidates belonging to the above communities as per the first NCA Notification
(gazette Date 31.12.2010 . category No.494/10
5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment - (Recruitment from
candidates belonging to SC, ST and OX
community only)
Note:- Applications of candidates belonging to communities other than Scheduled Caste,
OX, Scheduled Tribe will be summarily rejected and Individual rejection memo will not
be sent to them. But applications of SC candidates will also be considered in the absence
of ST candidates.
6. Age 22-41 Only candidates born between 2.1.1971
and 1.1.1990 (both dates included) are eligible to
apply.
Note:- Candidates belonging to other Christians
ie adult members of Scheduled Caste converted
to Christianity and their children, are eligible to
get age relaxation upto 5 years in the upper age
limit.

7. Qualifications :
1. Master’s Degree in the Subject concerned with not less than 55%
marks or its equivalent and good academic record .
2. Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the subject concerned
specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly
constituted by the state government in this behalf. When qualifications
are being equal preference shall be given to those candidates who
possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.
Note: (i) For SC/ST candidates minimum 50% marks for Master Degree
shall be sufficient .(GO(MS) No.2/07/HEdn dated 4.1.2007)
(ii) For PhD holders who have passed Master's Degree prior to
19.09.1991 50% marks for Master's Degree shall be sufficient.

(iii) Candidates who have obtained PhD Degree in the subject
concerned or have passed M.Phil Degree in the subject
concerned by 31/12/1993 are exempted from passing the NET
examination (G.O.(MS) No.86/07/H.Edn dated
19.06.2007,G.O(P) No.123/02/HEdn dated 17.09.2002)
(iv) For recruitment to various posts under these rules Degrees
awarded by the Universities recognized by UGC alone shall be
considered.
8. Mode of submitting application:
Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system
on the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission
'www.keralapsc.org' for applying for the post. Candidates who have
registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID and
password. Candidates must exclusively click on the 'Apply Now' button of the
respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No application
fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out of the details in the
profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are
responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of
password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure correctness of the
information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID for further
communication with the Commission. Applications once submitted will be
received as provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after
submission. Applications will be summarily rejected if non compliance with
the notification in due course of processing. Documents to prove Qualification,
experience , community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for .
